In May 2007 we celebrated 25 years of practicing great dentistry from our current location on Plaza Drive in Fairfax. As we looked back over those years, we were reminded of how much we love our patients. Dr. Sellers is blessed to work with many of the same patients and families he worked with in 1982. We work with three and four generations of some families and continue to enjoy meeting new patients and families each month!

Philosophy of Dental Care
We believe our patients deserve the best dental care possible. Since a healthy mouth and teeth are important to everyone's self esteem, we will educate our patients and help them understand the importance of quality dental care. This is achieved in a loving, caring environment that motivates of patients to seek the best. We give a comprehensive diagnostic exam to all patients and take the time to ensure they understand their dental needs.

What to expect
When you arrive, you can expect to be greeted warmly. We will ask you for any forms that have been sent to you ahead of time and look them over to make sure that they are complete and that we are aware of any relevant allergies or medical issues. Your first visit will normally consist of a two-hour appointment. The first hour will be spent getting to know you and your mouth. We will take a full series of digital x-rays and Dr. Sellers will perform a complete examination of your mouth and teeth. He will discuss any dental concerns that you might have with you and make recommendations for any treatment that you might need. The second hour will normally be spent with one of our friendly hygienists as she cleans your teeth. We look forward to meeting you!

What to Expect for Kids
We believe that a child's first visits to the dentist are very important. We normally recommend that children come to visit the dentist between the ages of 3 and 4, when they can sit comfortably in a chair for approximately 30 minutes. During their first visit (or "happy visit"), we introduce them to the experience of teeth cleaning by giving them a ride in the dental chair, counting their teeth, allowing them to experience "Mr. Thirsty" and "Mr. Squirty" and "tickling" their teeth. These visits are relaxed and allow the child to learn about getting his or her teeth cleaned without instilling fear. Our younger patients love coming to see us!
